When a twelve year old autistic, genderfluid boy tunnels through a vast system of blackberry bushes near his small town home, he discovers an ancient, hidden city full of woodcarving magic, sinister secrets, and wolves. But the wolves aren't as nice as they seem, and soon he finds himself embroiled in a quest to save his own town—with or without his new friends’ help.
